Since 2004, the International Theatre Institute accompanies the German Dance Platform – the showcase of contemporary dance with the production of the “programmBUCH”.
With the “ProgrammBUCH” of the Dance Platform, dance in Germany is presented worldwide – even beyond the biennial platform.
The partnership with the German Dance Platform means linking intensely with the dance scene in Germany. The information on activities of the ITI in the field of dance is highly appreciated nationwide. The ITI works as a competent network partner of the most important production venues and multipliers in dance – including Mousonturm in Frankfurt/ Main, Hebbel am Ufer in Berlin, Joint Adventures in Munich, Kampnagel in Hamburg, euro-scene Leipzig, TanzWerkstatt Berlin and tanzhaus nrw in Düsseldorf.
The continuity of this partnership made the organiser’s association pass the order to the ITI to establish an archive of the Dance Platform and to present the material available as an online archive at www.tanzplattform.de
