International Artists Info Berlin (part of touring artists) kicks off with a new format for transnational artists in 2020. Our MONTHLY MEET-UP will give you the chance
• to get advice on administrative questions relevant for your artistic work in Berlin (such as tax number, KSK (social security fund for artists) or visa issues).
• meet members of Berlin’s art institutions and get to know their work.
• meet fellow artists and support each other.
• visit shows, performances and exhibitions together.
You are welcome to join us every third Monday of the month at the Mediathek of the International Theatre Institute (ITI). Bring your questions and ideas!

The MONTHLY MEET-UP is held in cooperation with the Landesmusikrat Berlin e.V.

Touring artists, an information portal for artists working internationally, provides comprehensive information on visas/residence, transport/customs, taxes, social security, other insurances, and copyright.

Through a joint project of the German centre of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) and the Internationale Gesellschaft der Bildenden Künste (IGBK; English: International Association of Art (IAA) in Germany), these topics have been examined for both the performing arts and the visual arts. touring artists primarily maps the circumstances, legal regulations, and administrative procedures in Germany – for foreign artists who work here temporarily and for German artists or artists who live in Germany and who work abroad for a limited time. It also considers the perspective of Germany-based organizers.
